Brad Pitt will star in and his Plan B production company will produce World War Z for Paramount. Adapted from Max Brooks (son of Young Frankenstein and Blazing Saddles mastermind Mel Brooks) novel, World War Z has a District 9-type vibe with Pitt playing a United Nations researcher interviewing survivors of a decade-long zombie war.
