Dark Horse Comics is taking the same route as comic book publishers Marvel and Radical: making their own movies. Dark Horse is collaborating with Skydance Productions to bring their new comic "The Strange Case of Hyde" to the big screen. (Skydance has a co-financing/co-distribution deal with Paramount.) This version takes the split-personality character of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde from the classic Robert Louis Stevenson novel and puts him in a new situation: battling "a historical villain." "The Strange Case of Hyde" comic is being introduced at Comic-Con. Source: Heatvision |
